Audi just made official the 2013 R8, which comes with a restyling that slightly updated look, and not feel anything wrong, incidentally. The changes are quite subtle, but enough for the skin of the R8 look more modern and advanced, although not its design is left behind in more than four years he has been on the market.

Although at first glance it may seem, the whole front is new, from headlamps, now with LED technology for all roles in series, to grill, now six points, and bumper with new air intakes that are crossed by three horizontal bars satin finish. As an option, Audi offers a splitter made of plastic material reinforced with carbon fiber (CFRP), which is fitted as standard on the R8 V10 plus.

In the rear, also changed the bumper, which now has a new diffuser, made in CFRP, along with new exhaust pipes of larger diameter and a fully LED drivers equipped with intermittent dynamic, whose light is shifted to the side. As for the rest, the sills are new designs and also to introduce new tires.

For the body, is available in two colors: Ibis White and Brilliant Red and four metallic finishes, five pearlescent/glass and a mat for the R8 V10 plus. The side blades (rearview mirror housings) in the Coupe can be eight different colors, while the soft top of the R8 Spyder is offered in colors black, red and brown.
