The new Isuzu D-Max, the pick-up of the Japanese firm is already on the market after being presented at the Madrid Motor Show. The change from the previous model is total, and among other things, diesel engine incorporates the Euro 5. If anything can be said of Isuzu is its robustness, reliability and durability. And it is the only pick-up market designed from a truck manufacturer. Well, now comes this is new D-Max, which appeared in 2007, substituting the “Rodeo” and that is manufactured in Thailand.
Beginning with its outside, the renovation is complete: now has more modern lines and rounded headlamps integrated into the bodywork, rear fog daylight and integrated LED rear lights, which offer greater visibility and durability thanks to its low consumption. It should be noted the disappearance of the back markers in the most basic version, now replaced by bumper, either in black or chrome versions.
Another novelty, its engine: a 2.5-liter biturbo delivering 163 hp at 3,600 rpm and, most importantly, a torque of 400 Nm is reached at 1,400 rpm. Associated with this engine, it offers a six-speed manual transmission, but is also available a five-speed automatic. Continue reading
