Here at last: the Renault Twin’Run Concept is the successor in spirit of monsters such as the Renault 5 Turbo and the Clio V6. With 320 HP and a V6 engine in rear center position, the Renault Twin’Run is a prototype that focuses on pure sportsmanship no more punches.
Now at last we can learn more about, is that this weekend will be introduced under the 2013 Monaco Grand Prix Formula 1, what better setting for a coming-out?
Although it is nothing more than a prototype, Renault Twin’Run appeals to the past and the sporting tradition of the Diamond brand, wanting to find similarities to the Renault 5 Turbo or Renault Clio V6. You can of course, prefigure a future model for the brand intended for the urban segment, e.g. the new generation of the Twingo (or its substitute), at least from the purely design plane, but it will be difficult (to not impossible) we see a model of this radical in the street. Renault has used the services of designer Ross Lovegrove, who with the director of Industrial Design of the brand, Laurens van den Acker, wanted to capture the prototype forms of nature using 3D modeling techniques. Some elements, such as the front grille, go beyond aesthetics and are fully functional to ensure a better dynamic.
With a length of 3,627 mm, a wheelbase of 2,495 mm, a width of 1,705 mm and a height of 1,506 mm, Twin’Z line-Car Concept is robust hinges on aluminum alloy wheels of 18 inches , shod with 205/40 Michelin specifically designed.
They draw attention to the design of the prototype five-door existence by default, which are electrically operated, and the rears are reverse-opening doors commonly known as suicide doors, as well as the absence of the central pillar, an exercise in design may not go beyond Twin’Z Renault Concept-Car, i.e. the prototype. Make its official debut in the land, in France during the Paris Motor Show, but Renault has already announced the first details and images of the fourth-generation Clio. In the 50 th anniversary of the legendary Alpine, the brand has just introduced a gala concept dubbed Renault Alpine A110-50. This sporty rescues some design features of the original and reinterpreted by modern times. The body, now carbon fiber, is presented in a new blue color reminiscent of the famous Alpine blue.
The body has a modern and very fluid, which care for aerodynamics is evident in each of its corners. Furthermore, the additional headlights fitted curved in a semicircle yellow LED are presented as another great nod to the past. Another detail that will appeal to lovers of the racing world is that after the three-dimensional window you can see the engine, which is located in rear center position. The Renault Scenic dCi 110 Energy becomes the second variant of the diamond company that comes standard with the system start-stop after the dCi 130. Until the 2012 Beijing Motor Show Renault Talisman has arrived. With a roomier interior in its class and elegant design, the Talisman expects success among young Chinese entrepreneurs who aspire to drive medium-high at an affordable price.
The Renault Talisman has performed at the Beijing Motor Show 2012 with the intention of being the ‘flagship’ of the French brand in the Asian country. It is designed to succeed in China, the preferences are there: a sober but elegant interior and much wider than usual in European cars, and with a base price of 38,652 euros.
The Talisman will be produced at the plant that Renault Samsung Motors has in Korea, and will be exported to China from June 2012. Sales of Renault in China have quadrupled since 2009, partly thanks to the success of there the Renault Koleos, which has received 8 awards in the Asian country. Continue reading →
