Lamborghini Hurricane: engine and high-performance chassis
The hurricane Lamborghini LP 610-4 features a lightweight chassis that uses carbon fiber and aluminum. With an empty weight of 1,422 pounds, Lamborghini Hurricane offers a ratio weight/power of 2.33 kg/HP.
Mechanically, the new 5.2 liter V10 Engine offers a maximum power of 610 HP at 8,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 560 Nm at 6,500 rpm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 in 3.2 seconds, 0 to 200 in 9.9 and reaches a maximum speed of 325 km/h. This block equipped with Stop & Start System consumption is 12.5 l / 100 km. Emissions are 290 g/km.
All this power is transmitted to all four wheels through the change of dual-clutch seven-speed Lamborghini Doppia Frizione (LDF). A switch on the steering wheel allows you to choose different modes of driving (dynamic system includes three configurations: Strada, Sport and Corsa). These modes of driving changes the response and configuration change, engine, sound, integral traction and stability control.
