The first generation of Audi Q5 gets its first ‘restyling’, which greatly affects the consumption and the technological content that we have seen in recent updates of the brand with the four rings and now receives the midsize SUV. Faced since its inception with the BMW X3 and Mercedes GLK, the Audi Q5 receives a first-generation update, originating in 2008. The new midsize SUV Audi, located between the Q3 and Q7, now appears more sporty, with exterior lines more aggressive, more attractive and, last but not least, more efficient. On the outside, the Q5 is renewed in the headlights and front grille in high gloss single-frame black, with a coupe roofline and a wide palette of colors -15 in all. Optionally, you can opt for the exterior package ‘S line’, if you want a more sporty, or package designed to get their qualities offroad.
In its inside we find a more refined and with different chrome finish detail. Chaired by the panoramic glass roof, the seats are heated and air conditioned with ventilation function. Five mechanical options
The Audi Q5 offers a wide range mechanics, focusing on three TDI diesel, two petrol TFSI and a hybrid version. As for the TDI, we find an engine four-cylinder 2.0 in two versions: a 143 hp, which announces a consumption of 5.3 l/100 km and a range of 1,400 kilometers, and a 177 hp associated with automatic ‘S tronic’. This transmission also have the 3.0 TDI V6 that delivers 245 hp.
Gasoline engines are a 2.0 TFSI four-cylinder with an output of 225 hp and a torque of 35.7 mkg, with a fuel consumption of 7.6 liters per 100 kilometers. The other variant is a 3.0 V6, the most powerful of the range, with 272 hp of power, which is associated with an automatic transmission ‘tiptronic’ accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 234 km/h.
Loaded with technology
Audi highlights the driving of the new Q5 as “relaxed and carefree”, thanks to the driving aids found the driver, as well as the dynamic qualities it offers.
