Atlantic: New model from Fisker

Fisker introduces a new model: the Atlantic. The car is presented at the New York Auto Show (6 to 15 April 2012) as a study. The Atlantic will be the same as the already-known Karma, a hybrid vehicle with range extender technology.

Four-door coupe Hafter

Fisker says that the Atlantic was a four-door family sedan. However, the Karma also has four doors – this configuration is therefore nothing new in Fisker. In contrast to the rear door handles in Karma Atlantic, however, are hidden in the C-pillar – the way it makes Alfa Romeo Giulietta for example, at the latest. From the overall concept to make the Americans seem to want a sports sedan at the Audi A5 Sportback to the wheels – as regards the extent they relate to the Germans. Thus, the Atlantic is about 4.70 meters long, 1.85 meters wide and 1.40 meters high. To the rear of the Atlantic Fisker promises plenty of leg and headroom. Above the heads of the occupants are mainly glass arches. The roof construction is similar to an x-shaped structure. According to the manufacturer, this structure provides for crash tests and rollover tests optima.
