The German company ZF, manufacturer specializing in transmissions, has presented the first case of changes manually to seven gears for cars, whose use in series will have its premiere in the new models of Porsche 911 Carrera and 911 Carrera S Porsche.
The new box seven gears manually created on the structure of the dual-clutch semi-automatic ZF, also produced for Porsche. Among its advantages include a quicker change. And with the added seventh gear can save fuel, because its reduction is long, which results in a high speed cruise speed quite low.
