The receivers of Saab has announced that the company has up to 14 potential buyers who would take over the company in bankruptcy for two months. Only half the potential buyers of Saab would be willing to buy the company as a whole, so that they alone have access to the total manufacturer’s documentation.
The receivers have reiterated their intention that later this month could resume production at the factory Trollhattann ( southern Sweden ), paralyzed for almost a year. Swan, owner of the Swedish automaker, filed on Dec. 1 bankruptcy filing of its subsidiary for failing to ensure the economic viability of Saab, with problems for three years. Continue reading
